All pipe installed must be SDR 35 (ASTM D3034 Solvent Weld PVC Pipe) or heavier.

For single-family dwellings, the owner must install a minimum of four-inch solvent weld pipe.

For structures larger than a single-family dwelling and for all commercial and industrial development, the owner must install a minimum of six-inch solvent weld pipe.

For all installations, a sanitary cleanout must be installed within five feet of the structure and every 100 feet after.

Installations that require right-of-way use must use a six-inch SDR 35 (ASTM D3034 Solvent Weld PVC Pipe) or heavier within the right-of-way.

All laterals within the right-of-way must be bedded in #8 crushed stone or approved aggregate at a minimum of 12 inches of cover.

Inspections must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

A sewer tap permit is required for new installations and replacement of existing laterals. Contact the CCU Business Office for sewer tap permitting.
