Columbus City Utilities Quality Control Lab receives Indiana Water Environment Association (IWEA) Laboratory Excellence Award for the second consecutive year.

The IWEA Laboratory Excellence Award recognizes those laboratories that demonstrate a high level of commitment to good laboratory practice and accurate data reporting.  The audit involved a 428-point inspection on the following categories: Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Laboratory Facility, General Laboratory, and Analytes.  The laboratory received an overall score of 92% with 100% awarded for Quality Assurance/Quality Control.  Columbus City Utilities’ Laboratory staff exhibit outstanding dedication and quality to their role in environmental testing and preservation to our community.
