Columbus City Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in the area of Arrowood Drive from Ironwood Drive to Creekside Court and 8th Street and Werner Avenue.
This precautionary measure is necessary due to a shutdown associated with water system improvements in the area.
Customers are asked to boil cooking and drinking water for 5 minutes until notified that the water has passed laboratory testing.
The 8th Street and Werner Avenue boil water advisory will be in effect from 8:00 am Monday, July 27 until approximately Thursday, July 30.
The Arrowood Drive boil water advisory will be in effect from 8:00 am Tuesday, July 28 until approximately Friday, July 31.
Customers will be notified when the order is lifted.
Customers who have provided phone numbers to the utility will receive robocalls.
All customers affected will receive a door hanger notice prior to, and upon completion of the testing.
