Columbus City Utilities (CCU) is pleased to present its Annual Water Quality Report, covering the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018. The report is now available online and will also be included with mailed June CCU bills to customers.

The 1996 Safe Drinking Water Act requires that every public water system serving more than 15 service connections prepare a water quality report which provides information on where water comes from and how it compares to current standards. In 2018, CCU met or exceeded all drinking water quality standards set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).

The 2019 report also highlights where the community’s drinking water comes from, a table showing water quality parameters tested and tips on water conservation.  A brief history of CCU, as well as information about current use and operations, are also highlighted.
