System StatusThere are currently no interruptions to normal Columbus Utilities water and sewer services. Should your pipes freeze, call the Columbus City Utilities and allow us to assist in the investigation. If the frozen section is in the meter pit or before, you might not have to call a plumber.Water used to prevent frozen pipes is the cost of the customer (25 to 50 cents per day), but this cost could be less than that of a plumber to repair a broken pipe. .
