TRASH

The City of Columbus no longer charges trash collection fees unless residents have multiple trash toters. For a breakdown of fees and charges for trash collection, visit the City Services website at http://www.columbus.in.gov/city-garage/sanitation.

PENALTIES

Penalty Charges per City Ordinance 

If your bill is past due, the day after the due date the following will be assessed:

     Water balance - 10% of first $3.00 + 3% over $3.00 of total past due water charge

     Sewer balance - 10% of total past due sewer charge

     Trash balance – 10% of total past due trash charge 

OTHER FEES

Returned Checks/ACH Fee - $20.00

Temporary On/Off Fee - $10.00

Non-Payment Fee - $25.00 

After Hours (5:00 pm) Service Request Fee - $40.00 

DEPOSITS

Residential Sewer Deposit - $45.00

Residential Water Deposit - $30.00
